European Union tells small islands to cease selling passports by 2028 or else

According to Caribbean Life, Eastern Caribbean governments which sell golden passports and citizenships to wealthy foreigners say they have failed to persuade the European Union (EU) that recent security upgrades to the Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP) will make it any safer, so the EU has given them until 2028 to shut them down or lose visa free travel access for citizens.
